Summer Staff
I’m from a small town in Kentucky and have lived there all my life. I’m a fun outgoing person and I love working with kids. I am currently in school training to be a social worker. I can’t wait to see what God does this summer. Eagles’ Wings is where my heart is and I’m very excited to be coming back for my third summer. It is going to be a great summer and God is going to do awesome things.

I am from a small community just north of Birmingham, AL called Corner. I am a 2012 graduate from Corner High School where I played basketball and ran track. My passion for missions started at an early age when I traveled along the Amazon River in Peru juggling and unicycling to share the gospel. I love doing anything outdoors including camping, hiking, caving, rock-climbing, longboarding, and water sports. I love exploring and just being out in God’s creation. I look forward to growing in my relationship with Christ, and serving the kids we meet this summer!

I am from a TINY town in North Carolina called Rocky Point. It’s about 20 miles outside of Wilmington, NC. I live in Rocky Point, but worship, work, socialize, and go to school in Wilmington. I am a 21 year old only child. I’m a business major at a Community College; so far it’s taken me 3 years to get half way through a 2 year degree. What can I say? I’m an over achiever. I have barely traveled out of the Carolina’s and I have never flown. I am truly excited to be a part of Eagles’ Wings this summer!! I can’t wait to invest in someone else’s life (that I don’t already know) this summer, along with seeing what God has planned for me to learn, and getting to know another part of my faith family. The opportunity to go to New Mexico was literally placed in my hands through the North American Mission Board (I was trying to stay in NC, but numerous doors were opened and I KNOW God was/is calling me to NM). I am truly thankful to be able to call myself a missionary this summer (yes, this is my first missions opportunity as well). As far as my personality goes, I’m really easy going and mostly fun to be around. I have my quiet moments, but I’m normally cracking jokes, acting crazy, laughing, singing, etc. I’m pretty much a big kid that loves Jesus!

I am excited to be returning as a staffer at EWYR again this summer. Last summer was pretty spectacular and I am pretty sure that this summer will be even better. Some things about me, I am from a small town right outside Birmingham Alabama and I am working on getting my bachelors degree in French. I love being outside, my friends and I can always be found doing things like hiking or camping. Other than that, I am usually pretty busy playing ultimate Frisbee or studying. I am super pumped for camp this summer and I will see you guys soon.

I am a 21 year old senior Christian Studies major at Mississippi College. I am actively involved on campus where I serve as the president of my fraternity, Shawreth. I am an avid ukulele player, a baseball enthusiast, and, most importantly, a servant of my God. I have grown tremendously in my Christian walk since I have been in college and I am looking forward to helping others do the same at a younger age. I know the Spirit is going to move this summer and I am very humbled to be a part of what God is going to do at Camp Eagles’ Wings. This summer is going to be fun, and I am looking forward to every second of it.

I am a 21 year old art/music student at a local community college. I went to Eagles’ Wings Youth Ranch after my sophomore year of high school, 5 years ago, and I knew that one day I would be going back. This is my first mission trip out of state since, and I am so excited to be sharing this experience with my younger brother, Wesley, who is also going to be a summer staffer at EWYR. I enjoy learning about different cultures and learning new languages such as Spanish and Hawaiian Pidgin. This is so I can better relate to the people I witness to and understand where they are coming from. I have had the opportunity to experience this first hand in my community, where Hawaiian Pidgin is the heart language of the people. I currently live with my family in Hawaii and am serving God at church by being in the worship team (bass guitar). Being a homeschooled pastor’s kid from Hawaii with a heart on fire for God, I cannot wait to serve Him and minister to the kids at EWYR this summer!!

I was born in a small town in Wyoming, when I was nine we moved to Hawaii. I enjoy archery, volleyball and computer programming. When I was younger I built with Legos extensively. I once built a Lego robot capable of playing Tic-Tac-Toe autonomously. I now use those skills to create online computer games. Currently my games have been played a little over four hundred thousand times. I have just completed my senior year of high school. My Mom home schooled my three sisters and I. This fall I will be attending Leeward Community College. After a year there, I plan on transferring to an engineering college in Missouri. Being a PK(Pastors Kid), I have been involved in ministry for as long as I can remember. Last summer I went on a ten week mission trip to Jefferson City, Tennessee. While there I led groups of volunteers in construction work on low-income families homes. I look forward to ministering to the kids and seeing God at work this summer.
